'Buy certain product or collection and get X points or reward' rule encourages your customers to buy promoted products or collections by offering points, discounts, or gift cards. You can set up a product or collection and cheer members when they will buy it.
What is new?
Now you are able to start promotion of the several products and collections, not only one of them. It will be very helpful to your business and you will be able to advance your sales.
To start, please go to the Earning Points section in Rewards, and click on the "Add new" button:
Then find the 'Buy certain product or collection and get X points or reward' rule, open it and choose what it will be (product or collection):
Set up the rewarding type (points, discount, gift card, or free product):
1. Points allow you to reward your customers with points
2. Discount you'll see these 3 options:
- Percentage works as a usual discount. Just the specified percentage is off from customers' total order's cost for doing the earning action.
- Fixed amount discount goes as the dollars off. You can put any amount you wish and the customer will get this "money" for doing the earning action.
- Free shipping - customer will get the discount code that can be used at the checkout page.
3. Gift Card is a special type of product. Its value can be used as payment toward future orders from your online store.
4. Free product you may choose any product you would like and your customers may redeem points to get it for free:
Choose the product and set up the value. Do not forget to Save the changes.
Once the users receive their discounts for completing some actions, they can find their code in the Reward tab or the notification email and apply it to the order on the Checkout page.
The next step is to set the number of times that this action can be completed (P.S. Lifetime means 1 time in how many days this rule can be performed - 1 day, 7 days, 30 days), set reward delay, and enable the rule:
Excluding Tagged Products from Orders
If an admin puts the excluded product into this earning rule, the points will be given anyway.
Note: In this rule, customers will get one reward for purchasing any one of the products from a specified collection. The goal is to encourage customers to purchase a certain product or any product from a certain collection. So once the goal is reached, the customer will receive a reward (one reward).
