Choosing gallery looks: Layout and display options

Let’s get to know our layouts closer and learn to differentiate them from each other. By the way, there are four layouts in our app

Slider

The most important advantage of this layout is that it doesn't take up much space because the photos are placed in a carousel that you can flip through. The slider is suitable for absolutely all sites.

Here are a few things that you can set up in the admin panel:

1. You can sort images so that the gallery shows either new or tagged images first.

2. Show either all images or tagged images.

3. Adjust the space between the photos.


Listing

Well, we're moving on to more voluminous layouts. The listing looks like a beautiful solitaire with shadows and borders:

In addition to sort and filter options in the admin panel, you can customize the number of columns and rows you want:


Grid

This type of layout places images in a grid without borders and shadows (Load more button at the bottom of images):

In the admin panel, you can sort and filter images, and adjust rows, columns, and space between photos.


Masonry

Masonry is a grid layout based on columns. Unlike other grid layouts, it doesn’t have fixed-height rows:

The admin panel of this layout has no fundamental differences from the others except for the absence of columns.
