How to import existing customers to our Loyalty and Rewards program?
Learn how to migrate existing customers with points from Smile.io, Swell, Marsello, LoyaltyLion, and others.
You've decided to move from another Reward app to our Growave platform, however, you are afraid to lose any existing data from your current Reward app?
Keep calm and trust us :) We'll gladly help you to migrate your existing customers with points and birthday data into our platform smoothly and without causing any inconvenience.
For that please create a CSV file in this format:
REQUIRED: Email, Customer ID, points
OPTIONAL: first_name, last_name, birthdate(Y-m-d)
You can choose between two suitable fields: Customer ID or Email. The app automatically differentiates between two main fields. If one of the fields is empty and another is filled, the information will be taken from the filled one. To make it work properly, ensure your CSV file has both fields (Email, Customer ID) and corresponds to this format. Even if you don't have any Customer ID fields, you must include at least a column with its name.
If you have been using the other reward app for Shopify (Smile.io, Swell, Marsello, LoyaltyLion, etc), then you can export data in a CSV file from their admin panel or reach the vendor's support team.

Also, the import of customers and their rewards can be done on our end or from the Growave Admin:
1) Go to Settings -> Import center -> Rewards:

Looking for newly imported Loyalty and Rewards members?
Don’t you worry I got your back🤗 All you need to do is follow this path:
Growave Dashboard >Customers. You should choose the "WIth points" in a placeholder like it's shown on the screens:
When customers are newly imported from a different app, the only information that we have about them is their names and points (birthdays optional), that is why the members are displayed here.
Later on, when your customers get engaged in our Loyalty and Rewards by earning points or/and redeeming them they will automatically be displayed in the Customers section.
By the way, you are able to find more detailed information about customers' birthdays, point balance, purchased products, etc.
In case some of the points haven't been imported, you can download the file under the field of 'Incorrect format':
